It seems apple continue to pave the way for operating system user interface. In their infancy, mobile operating systems used the lessons learned from desktop computers as a foundation for their user experiences. Now, in an age where mobile is fast becoming the primary platform of computing (particularly through tablets such as the iPad), it seems the tables are turning.
Apple’s latest operating system, OSX Mountain Lion, transfers many of the features designed for iPad back to the desktop, and with the emergence of iCloud, mobile and desktop have never been closer. It’s smile shifts in thinking like this that make Apple so innovative, and keeps them streets ahead of their rivals.

The blogosphere is alive with chatter about the iPad, Apples revolutionary touch-screen device finally unveiled yesterday after months (years) of speculation. Does it live up to the hype?
